Mike graduated from the University of Louisville in 1992 with majors in English and Humanities and a Spanish minor. After working as an editor and in the advertising field for several years, he chose to pursue his law degree and graduated from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2004.
Mike has focused his practice since 2004 on civil defense litigation, with experience as the lead attorney in thousands of cases with a concentration in the fields of automobile liability, personal injury defense, premises liability, wrongful death, bad faith litigation, insurance coverage, fraud investigation, products liability, and subrogation matters. He has earned an AV Preeminent Rating from his peers through Martindale-Hubbell, and is well-versed in all aspects of civil litigation, including claim evaluation, pre-suit negotiation, risk management, mediation, arbitration, trial practice and appeals. Mike is licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, as well as the U.S. District Courts of Eastern and Western Kentucky, and he is a member of the Louisville and Kentucky Bar Associations.
